SAY WHAT?

So. Someone recently told me I was arrogant. Me? Thus, I need a definition.

Arrogant 

adjective 

1. making claims or pretensions to superior importance or rights; overbearingly assuming; insolently proud: an arrogant public official.
2. characterized by or proceeding from arrogance, or a sense of superiority, self-importance, or entitlement: arrogant claims.
2. No No No. It's not me who is overbearing, proud, superior.

Rather, it's 'The Words'. THEY demand the spotlight. THEY are the ones exuding with self-importance. THEY are the ones who are overbearing. Because, you see, they overtake me. I am merely Their messenger. Nothing more.

The words have a message. That THEY want to be heard.
